| Alain Badiou(1937——),known as the most speculative thinker since Hegel and the most materialist philosopher since Lueretius. Event, truth and subject exist in Badiou’s works and play important roles in Badiou’s thought. Through event, truth and subject, Badiou restore the position of philosophy, which make him distinguish from other postmodernism philosophers. In this paper, I describe around three key concepts---event, truth and subject on the basis of transformation from being to appearing. I explain event, truth and subject from three aspects of theory origin,content, theoretical significance, which aims at revealing that event, truth and subject is a unit regarding to existence and appearing and try to analyse the methodology of this structure. Event, truth and subject supply an opening point to understand Badiou’s thought and this structure provides important clues for the uniqueness and importance of our understanding of Badiou’s thought. |
