Research On The Construction Of "West Bank Cultural Corridor" In Xuhui Riverside Based On Space Production Theory

Developing modern service industry vigorously and driving the innovation transformation of the city are major tasks in building an international metropolis of Shanghai. Cultural and creative as the engine of a new urban transformation, playing an important role in building the innovation system, promoting industrial integration, creating of diverse forms of urban space, driving urban transformation and fostering diversity in urban social strata. Based on this development background, I choose cultural and creative industries of Xuhui Riverside as a thesis topic. According to combing resources of Xuhui Riverside district, I explored and analyzed the urban space remodeling from the perspective of production space. Linking strategic transformation and social development together, I hope I can provide a reference for the construction of the pattern and the international metropolis of Shanghai tourism development.The full text consists of seven chapters, mainly divided into four parts: the introduction, analysis of theoretical research, the main body and the related conclusion:The first part is an introduction(chapter 1), explain the research background, the research significance, research ideas and research methods.The second part is the theoretical study(chapter 2), first of all,I summarized the literature review both at home and aboard research. Secondly, the production of space, gathering area of Culture creative industries the Cultural and creative Industries were defined. Then, I analysis London’s South Bank Waterfront creative and cultural industries gathering area to draw relevant revelation, with a view of Xuhui Riverside cultural corridor of the building in the West Bank for reference.The third part is the main body analysis(chapter 3 to 6), this is a core part of this article. The article first reviews the evolution paths of Cultural Creative Industries and the spatial distribution characteristics in downtown of Shanghai. Then, I explain function of the cultural corridor in Huangpu River development pattern of veins. Secondly, analyzed the West Bank cultural corridor from basic case, spatial form evolution, allocation of production factors and other aspects. According to of the analysis, I pointed out that the cultural capital factors, policy and institutional factors, human factors and environmental factors are important factors affecting the cultural Creative Industries. The core part of the article is the use of Lefebvre’s theory of space production to explain Xuhui Riverside Bank cultural corridor from the conceptualization of space and material reconstruction of spatial practice level. Reconstruction conceptualization of space mainly from the local government, designers, businesses(developers) three levels, emphasizing the impact of the concept of spatial planning production; materialized mainly from the power of space form evolution, space game, the result of space strategy game and solve four levels.The fourth part is the study conclusion(chapter7), which is the last part of the paper. On this part, main points of this paper are concluded. I also pointed out the lack of research in this paper and future research directions.
