BackgroundRecent studies have shown, the incidence of personality disorders among college students is higher than in the general population, become huge and untreated group, which has seriously affected the mental health of college students. The existing personality disorder treatments is poor, time-consuming, and the effect is not easy to consolidate. NLP therapy is a fast, effective treatment method, which combines the Gestalt therapy, Hypnosis therapy and Family therapy. It has been widely used in neurosis, psychosomatic diseases, psychological behaviors disorder of adolescents, marriage relationship and parent-child relationship in the general population, education and guidance, organization management and so on. The results show it is a powerful, fast and implicit communication mode. Application of domestic NLP therapy start soon. Studies about the NLP therapy in the treatment of personality disorders has not been found.Objective:1、Discusses the relationship in personality disorder, self-esteem, self acceptance and mental health among college students.2、To detect the NLP group counseling on the personality disorders students’self-esteem, self acceptance and the personality disorders and mental health intervention. Methods:By using the method of questionnaire, experimental method and counseling. The concrete research process is divided into two parts. The first part discusses the relationship in personality disorder, self-esteem, self acceptance and mental health among college students. Compared the selected31personality disorder college students group and33normal college students group about self-esteem, self acceptance and mental health, and analyzed the correlation between them. The second part is the experimental study of NLP group counseling. Choose20students from the personality disorder group of the first part to participate in the group, which has three months of counseling. To detect the NLP group counseling on the personality disorders students’self-esteem, self acceptance, and the personality disorders and mental health intervention.Results:1、 Personality disorder in college students’self-esteem, self acceptance and mental health were significantly lower than that of normal college students.2、The total score of personality disorder was negatively correlated with their self-esteem and self acceptance was negatively correlated, and positively correlated with SCL-90. The various subtypes of personality disorder was inconsistent in self acceptance and self-esteem.3、Personality disorder in college students’self-esteem, self acceptance and mental health has interactive relationship.4、College students’ self-esteem and self acceptance has an important role in the prediction of personality disorder.5、NLP group counseling can significantly improve personality disorder in college students ’self-esteem, self acceptance and mental health.The effect of NLP group counseling on College Students’ personality disorder intervention was significantly.6、NLP group counseling can reduce the lever of College Students’ personality disorder.7、NLP group counseling intervention effect has the stability of personality disorder.
