Abstract/Summary:
Since the beginning of the new century,Chinese contemporary women writers begin to move their perspective from personal life and feelings towards history of Chinese revolution in modern times generally. They try to mix their sensitive characteristics different from men with the grand history and make further discussion about Chinese civilization and people’s living situation. Their creative intention of history construction is quite apparently showing up.WU ZI is written by Zhang Jie as her excellent work. It contains nearly a hundred years of Chinese history with the description of three women generations. BEN HUA choose Xiang family’s living situation in a small village called "Ben Hua" in He Bei province as a main narrative line to show the turbulent history from the end of the Qing Dynasty to The Anti-Japanese War. It ingeniously blends daily life into grand history changing. Therefore, this paper intends to interpret the possibility and character when history is written by women through the text analysis of WU ZI and BEN HUA and put them into the field of modern Chinese literature history to see the new breakthrough they’ve made.In the context, they will be compared with the classic revolution history writing. The Heterogeneity and personalized content show the dimensions that were barely came out in the past. The second chapter is about the characterization art in the novels. The third chapter summarized the new creation in the two novels in narrative of modern revolution and then definite their literature value. The last conclusion tried to discuss the differentiation with the two works in the aspect of gender perspective and the view into history. Through all the analysis of the two works, we can see the new trend of women’s writing about modern revolution history in the new century.
