A Study On The Expressions Of The Sentence Patterns In Shanxi Wenxi Dialect

This paper means to make a preliminary exploration of Wenxi dialect relationship expression.In the framework of Mr XingFuYi’s three subsystem,on the basis of the results of research on modern Chinese complex sentence,through the comparison of dialect and mandarin and inspection of form, semantics, pragmatics,the paper trys to do an in-depth research into Wenxi dialect in order to deepen the understanding of modem Chinese grammar.The first chapter is the introduction part. This part mainly describes the general situation of Wenxi dialect and describes its initials,finals,tone of voice system and vocabulary characteristics. In order to have an in-depth research into the complex sentence relationship expression means of Wenxi dialect, it is a must to have an in-depth knowledge of the complex sentence of modern Chinese,which is the basis of wenxi dialect research. Starting from the second chapter which is the main part of the article,this part mainly uses Mr XingFuYi’s three subsystem to divide wenxi dialect into three types, which are coordinate complex sentence,causal complex sentence and transitional complex sentence.The three categories are divided into many small classes. In view of the specific dialect facts and combining dialect grammar and mandarin grammar research,every class is investigated from the three different angles of form, meaning and pragmatic value. The second chapter studies the coordinate complex sentence in Wenxi dialect, mainly including the compound, the coherent sentences, progressive and selective sentences.The third chapter is the study of the causal complex sentence in Wenxi dialect,mainly including causal,inferred,hypothesis, conditional, purposive and optimized sentences. The fourth chapter is the study of the transitional complex sentence, mainly including transitional concession and false transitional sentences. In the three chapters, on the basis of common associated word of complex’ sentences in modern Chinese,common associated word of complex sentences are searched in Wenxi dialect.Then,by comparing the example sentences, results show the differences of all kinds of complex sentences in mandarin and dialect.At last, the example sentences of Wenxi dialects are analyzed from the three angles,which are language form, language meaning and pragmatic value. And expression means of complex sentences with dialect characteristics in Wenxi dialect are introduced in detail. Through the study of the above chapters, it is possible to have an insight into the expression means of various kinds of complex setences in Wenxi dialect. The fifth chapter mainly makes a summary to the characteristics of expression means of complex sentences in Wenxi dialect. First of all, some signs of complex sentences is consistent in Wenxi. dialect and mandarin. Secondly, Parataxis are used to express the complex sentences both in Wenxi dialect and mandarin. Thirdly,Wenxi dialect has its unique expression method of complex sentences.Namely, Wenxi dialect has its unique associated word. Finally, prepositions, conjunctions and adverbs are often used to express the complex sentences in mandarin.But in Wenxi dialect, verbs, modal adverb "dare", multi-word and modal particles "moved""some" are used frequently.Wenxi county has a long history and profound cultural background and historical precipitation. And because of its rapid economic development, Wenxi county has an irreplaceable role in the development of Yun’cheng city’s economy.A lot of Wenxi culture is involved in dialect.And Wenxi dialect retains a lot of the old saying, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, and provides the basis for many ancient classics and history. So, study of wenxi dialect has an important significance to Wenxi county and even the whole culture and history of precipitation in Yun’cheng city.
