Singer was born in a world that bears the imprint of the Jewry in Eastern Europe; the world was glutted with wealth, poverty and ethnic customs. This chapter will explore the deep meaning of Singer’s novels from the theme of stray, redemption, and "crime and punishment".The third chapter discusses Singer’s biblical archetype writing in his novels from the aspect of characters.
