Lawrence did not copy simply from the literary quotation and the prototype of the Bible, but exceeded on a certain extent. It is objective that Lawrence was influenced by the Christianism, but he was not an orthodox Christian. The Bible prototype used in the Lawrence works represents that the bible exerted a subtle influence on Lawrence's works on the one hand; on the other hand, it manifests Lawrence's religion conception himself. He pursues the integration of the spirit and the body, the combination the religious spiritual life with the unreligious dolcevita. He was trying to building and expressing his new religion conception which was callded Rananism .In Lawrence's mind , Rananism is the paradise and the Holy Land. In his all life ,he was looking for this home of spirit. Lawrence's Bible prototype also possesses his own characteristics and his unique elucidatory meaning and prototype.
