| In recent years, China is becoming more and more powerful, and theinfluence of China in the world is also increasing. Chinese is more andmore popular all over the world. Philippines is China’s close neighbor,and there are so many Chinese and Pilipino Chinese on this land. Underthe influence of the political and economic communication, learningChinese in Philippine is particularly urgent. In Philippine, Chineseschools are using so many kinds of Chinese book, but because ofdifferent author, different writing philosophy and different users, theeffect of these books are also very different.This paper will start from the two yeas teaching experience of me inPhilippines; compare the different parts like phonics, vocabulary and textof Kuai Le Han Yu and Chinese Reader, combined with the real reactionof Chinese learners in class, show which kind of Country-specificteaching materials is the most suitable one for Philippine Chineselearners. |
