Object: This article is aiming to introduce a new type of cervical intervertebral fusion cage by3 D printing, regarding to its design concept, making process and how to evaluate it biomechanically。Background and methods:Using nano hydroxyapatite and polylactide as raw material, generate the cervical intervertebral fusion cage with 3D print. Text the maximum compressive load of nano hydroxyapatite/polylactide(n-HA/PLA) group and the traditional carbon fiber group using a mechanical detector. Scanning electron microscopy(sem) is used to observe the distribution of hydroxyapatite in the PLA, evaluate the efficacy of the mixture.Result: he compressive load of n-HA/PLA group is slightly lower than the carbon fiber group. But no statistical significant(P>0.05).Scanning electron microscopy(sem) results showed that hydroxyl apatite distributed evenly in the PLA, no obvious poly group phenomenon, mixing effect is good. Conclusion: With the good compression resistance performance, the new type of n-HA/PLA cervical intervertebral fusion cage can meet the biomechanics requirements of clinical implant.
