Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Damp - Heat Eczema With Dermatitis Lotion And Longdan Xiegan Decoction

Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy for treat dampness-heat syndrome of eczema by using Piyan lotion combined with gentian liver purging soup,in order to provide better treatment options for dampness-heat syndrome of eczema.Material and method:In this study,all 62 cases of patients were from Match 2014 to November 2015 for treatment at the department dermatology clinic Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning Medical University, met the diagnostic criteria of dampness-heat syndrome of eczema and inclusion criteria of the study and had signed informed consent.Using the the random number table,62 patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group.5 patients were excluded,in the process.Ultimately, 28 cases for treatment group, 29 cases for control group were included in the statistical analysis.The ages,gender,disease duration,itching points before treatment,dampness-heat syndrome score of TCM and EASI score of patients in both groups were not statistically different(P>0.05).The treatment group were given Piyan lotion for wet dressing,while the control group were given 3% orthoboric acid solution for wet dressing.Both groups were orally given gentian liver purging soup. Both groups were given clinical efficacy analysis after 2 courses of treatment(7 days per course),and observed adverse reactions.The cured patients were visited 1 month after the end of treatment and the relapse were recorded and compared between the two groups. SPSS17.0 were used to analyze all the data.Results: 1.Clinical effect: The treatment groups:5 cases were cured,16 cases were markedly improved,5 cases were improved,2 cases were failed,the total effective rate was 92.86%.The control groups:4 cases were cured,8 cases were markedly improved,13 cases were improved,4 cases were failed,the total effective rate was 86.21%.The efficacy of the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05). 2.Clinical curative effect against the itch:The treatment groups:7 cases were cured,14 cases were markedly improved,4 cases were improved,3 cases were failed,the total effective rate was 89.25%.The control groups:3 cases were cured,12 cases were markedly improved,6 cases were improved,8 cases were failed,the total effective rate was 72.41%.The efficacy of the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05). 3.Clinical curative effect against TCM syndrome:The treatment groups:4 cases were cured,11 cases were markedly improved,8cases were improved,4 cases were failed,the total effective rate was 85.71%.The control groups:5 cases were cured,13 cases were markedly improved,6 cases were improved,5cases were failed,the total effective rate was 82.75%.The curative efficacy of the two groups were equivalent(P>0.05). 4.Clinical curative effect against EASI score,The curative efficacy of the two groups were equivalent after 1 course of treatment(P>0.05).The efficacy of the treatment group was superior to the control group,after 2 course of treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:Piyan lotion combined with gentian liver purging soup is efficient for dampness-heat syndrome of eczema.It was superior to the control group for curative effect, antipruritic effect and improvement on area and severity of eczema,were worth improving.
