Professor Sun Haibo 's Clinical Application Of Modified Huyue Zhuyu Decoction In Treating Voice Recovery After Vocal Cord Tumor

Purpose: To observe the effect of the Huiyan Zhuyu Tang on vocal cords benign tumor postoperative voice recovery.Material and method:Collecting 80 cases of patients with 80 cases of vocal cord benign tumor after operation from the Department of ENT, Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine during January 2015 to January 2016,in which 38 cases of male patients, 42 cases of female patients, aged between 29-77 years old. Before and after the treatment, the VHI score, voice analysis and the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine were observed.SPSS17.0 statistical software was used to deal with the data, in which group t-test was used in comparison between groups, paired t-test for the group.If the datas do not subject to normal distribution and homogeneity of variance, the chi square test or rank sum test was used.For the Categorical variable data,the chi square test was used,while the rank sum test for rank data.Results: 1. The comparison of equilibrium between the two groups(P> 0.05) had no significant difference between the two groups in gender and age distribution.There was comparability. 2. Before the treatment,the comparison between the two groups of VHI functional rating scale, physical, emotional(P> 0.05) had no statistical significance.Aafter treatment in the same group,the comparison of VHI functional rating scale, physical, emotional(P <0.05) had statistical significance,and the comparison between the two groups(P <0.05) had statistical significance. 3. There was no statistical significance between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05), and there was statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05)in the analysis of voice rehabilitation. 4. Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in the curative effec of the single symptom between the two group(P>0.05) while there was statisticallysignificant after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1. The Huiyan Zhuyu Tang can improve index of the vocal polyp, emotional function and physiological. 2. The Huiyan Zhuyu Tang can improve the voice situation of the patients’ vocal polyp. 3. The Huiyan Zhuyu Tang can improve the efficacy of individual symptoms of traditional Chinese medical in vocal polyp after operation.
