Study On The Development Strategy Of YNFP Hospital

The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Fifth Plen ary Session of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China depicts a grand blueprint of the national reform and development, which makes a layout for bui lding a comprehensive well-off society in our country. With the constantly advancing of the national medical and health system reform, the circumstance of hospital is unde rgoing profound and great changes. It is a test of the wisdom to the managers of publi c hospital that how to establish the sense of crisis in the fierce competition in medical industry, continually exploit the hospital’s potentialities of development, continually p romote competitive advantage, and fulfill their duties. In this context, as a manageme nt tool that enable the hospital to adapt to changes of external environment better and effectively enhance the core competitiveness of the hospital, strategic management is widely used.Based on the investigation of YNFP hospital, this paper reviews the research on th e strategic management theory and the strategic management of the hospital. This pap er is guided by the strategic management theory and makes a research by literature res earch method, case research method and systematic method. In addition, the paper ma kes a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the external strategic environment of Y NFP hospital with integrating and applying PESTEL, SWOT and Porter’s five forces model, and then recognizes the opportunities and threats that hospital faced, extracts a nd purifies the advantages and disadvantages of hospital. It also makes specific and fe asible strategic objectives of YNFP Hospital. This article discusses several strategy to realize the hospital’s strategic objectives as follows, developing the hospital through r esearch and education, making hospital stronger by talent, building a cultural atmosph ere in hospital, information strategy, constructing hospital health alliance, meticulous management etc. and puts forward suggestions to ensure the realization of strategy.
