Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Depression Of Liver - Qi Stagnation With Moxibustion Combined With Five - Tone Therapy

Purpose:To observation the clinical efficacy of Moxibustion combined with five-line music therapy in the treatment of depression associated with liver qi stagnancy,and to assess its side effects and look out for the methods with less side effects and more safer for depression treatment.Material and method:112 patients of mild and moderate depression who met the diagnostic criteria were collected from the associated hospital of Liaoning university of Traditional Chinese Medicine encephalopathy K2 department and cardiovascular department outpatient department and were randomly divided into treatment group 56 cases and control group 56 cases. Treatment group was adopted with the comprehensive intervention method of moxibustion combined with the five-tone music therapy in a total of six weeks,choose the acupoints Ganshu、Xinshu、Dan zhong and take therapeutic method with two strongs each time、once a day,at the same time,cooperate with the tune of Mi、Sol in five notes which was played once a day, 20 minutes at a time. Control group took western medicine mirtazapine orally,initial dose for each 15 mg, once per day,according to the condition gradually added amount,maximum dose for 45 mg. Evaluated the scores of HAMD and the side effects rating scale before treatment and after a six-week treatment,to analyze curative effects and side effects.Results:1.The HAMD score of the treatment group after a six-week treatment(12.95 ± 5.69) was less than non-treatment(26.57 ± 4.94),and the results have statistical significance(p < 0.01).The HAMD score of the control group was the same with treatment group[after a six-week treatment(12.99 ± 6.22);non-treatment(25.55 ±5.36)].2. Compared the effective rate between two groups in a method of chi-square test,the results showed no differences between treatment group and control group(P > 0.05).3. The result of the side effects SERS scores between treatment group(5.00 ±3.25) and control group(10.70 ± 3.94) after treatment was the treatment group significantly lower than control group. The difference had statistical significance, p < 0.01. Through the whole process,the incidence of adverse reactions in treatment group(8.92%) was lower than the control group(37.50%).Conclusion:1. The method of treating the depression with liver qi stagnancy by moxibustion combined with the five-tone therapy has a certain effect, and the recent curative effect is the same with the western medicine mirtazapine.2. The side effects of moxibustion combined with the five-tone therapy are significantly less than western medicine mirtazapine, and the degree of former is lighter.3. Treating the depression with liver qi stagnancy by moxibustion combined with the five-tone therapy has a less side effect, lower treatment cost than conventional western medicine, which has certain advantages.
