Purpose:This study uses the clinical curative effect of Electro-Acupuncture Therapy for the treatment of Apoplectic Pseudo Bulbar Palsy Dysphagia, and systematic observation of acupuncture in Lian Quan and Pang Lian Quan, on Apoplectic Pseudo Bulbar Palsy dysphagia patients to improve the situation, and to make clear the clinical effect of Electro acupuncture on dysphagia after stroke.Material and method: All cases were taken from the hospitalized patients in department of neurology of Ying kou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the patients were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group and the control group according to the order of the selected cases. The treatment group was given electro acupuncture at acupoints Lian Quan and pang-lian quan, Feng chi, Jin Jin, yu ye. Control group was given acupuncture at Feng chi, Jin jin and Yu ye, Lian Quan, shui tu points, both the groups were given acupuncture once a day, every 6 days was counted as a course of treatment, 1 day rest was given after each course, after 4 courses of treatment efficacy of the treatment was evaluated. SPSS 21.0 was used to analyze the data of before and after the treatment.Results:After electro acupuncture and simple acupuncture treatment, the symptoms of two groups were improved. There was no statistical significance in the two groups in the basic characteristics like gender, age, duration of disease etc. After four weeks of treatment, the experimental group and the control group compared to Watian drinking water test score there was statistically significant difference [(mean + SD) 3.90 + 0.84, and 3.00 + 0.87, respectively; P < 0.05], there was marked improvement in the treatment of Apoplectic Pseudo bulbar Palsy in both the treatment group and the control group. The efficacy rate of the treatment in the treatment group and the control group was respectively 90% and 86.6%. After treatment the two groups have statistical significance in the result, indicating that electro acupuncture is better than the ordinary acupuncture therapy to treat the disease of Apoplectic Pseudo bulbar Palsy dysphagia.Conclusion:Electro acupuncture therapy and acupuncture are both effective methods to treat the patients with Pseudo Bulbar Palsy Dysphagia after stroke, but the electro acupuncture has a better therapeutic effect than normal acupuncture on the patients with Pseudo Bulbar Palsy Dysphagia after stroke. Compared with other treatment methods, acupuncture and moxibustion therapy has the advantages of low cost, easy operation, no toxic side effect, low risk, and definite curative effect, which is worth popularizing in clinic.
