Purpose:To analyze the prognostic factors for long-term survival patients in metastasis breast cancer.Material and method:A retrospective analysis of affiliated hospital of Liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine department of oncology were treated in March 2011-December 2014 and followed up 110 cases of the patients with recurrent and metastatic breast cancer clinical data. To establish the clinical database of patients, accordance with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria for screening in strict, according to the year of post metastasis survival to sectionalization, use chi-square test between groups to compare and analysis data for several times, select the most statistically significant of prognostic factors for post metastasis survival of 3 years as the node. Finally we selected 56 cases into this study in which the post metastasis survival more than 3 years group were 33 cases, while less than 3 years group were 23 cases. The factors that may affect the prognostic were tested by Log-Rank single factor analysis, then the factors that have statistical significance in single factor analysis were taken into COX proportional hazards regression model to find out the the independent prognostic factors of long-term post metastasis survival with breast cancer. Results: 1. Taking chi-square test for two groups of the post metastasis survival more than 3 years and less than 3 years to compare and analysis data:The axillary lymph node status,HER-2 expression status, radiation therapy, the use of traditional Chinese medicine, the number of use traditional Chinese medicine, karnofsky performance score of the first recurrent and metastatic patients, the site of the first metastasis organ and the number of the first metastasis organ have statistical significance(P<0.05),indicate that the eight factors may have influence on the post metastasis survival with breast cancer. While the age of diagnosis, the age of recurrent and metastatic, surgery, the expression of estrogen recepto and progesterone receptor, the number of chemotherapy, the use of hormone medicine, the time of use hormone medicine, the use of Chinese patent medicine and disease free survival have no statistical significance(P>0.05).2.On the univariate analysis:The axillary lymph node status,HER-2 expression statu, radiation therapy, the use of traditional Chinese medicine, the number of use traditional Chinese medicine,Karnofsky performance score of the first recurrent and metastatic patients, the number of the first metastasis organ, are the prognostic factors of MSR(P<0.05). 3.On the multivariate analysis:HER-2 expression status, the number of the first metastasis organs, radiation therapy, the number of use traditional Chinese medicine are the independent prognostic factors of MSR(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.HER-2 negative, the less number of the first metastasis organs, full of radiotherapy,long-term use of traditional Chinese medicine are independent prognostic factors for long-term survived of MSR(P<0.05). 2.Based on the pathology and molecular classification of breast cancer to use standardization of western medicine treatment with long-term treatment of traditional Chinese medicine can prolong MSR.
