Professor Yao Kuiwu 's Study On The Treatment Of Arrhythmia By "Harmony Thought"

Objective:Arrhythmia is one of clinically common and frequently-occurring disease of cardiovascular system. It can either occur alone or with other cardiovascular disease or other systemic diseases.In more severe cases, it can cause sudden death due to sudden onset, or developing into chronic heart failure finally leading to death. In this article, the author combs the modern medical knowledge, the traditional motherland medicine theory of arrhythmia and summarizes the experiences of tutor in the clinical treatment of arrhythmia to understand the recent situation and characteristic of traditional Chinese medicine as well as western medicine for the treatment of the disease.At the same time,in the basement of TCM clinic experience of treatment of arrhythmia,provide new thought,and make effective combination of advantages of both TCM and western medicine striving for better effect in the prevention, treatment and aftercare of arrhythmia, further letting doctors and patients together with talents in all kinds of fields able to get one step further and promote the health and development of human beings. At the same time, for my own, through the collection of books, papers and clinical cases related to arrhythmia,giving me,myself, a systematic and complete understanding of the knowledge related to arrhythmia.By summing up the clinical experience of tutor in modern times, rethinking and identifying the experience of the predecessors can organically combine the theory and practice together, in aid of better understanding and mastering the related content of the disease.I believe that such a method is also suitable for other diseases and it is a good way to study and summarize.Methods:In the first and second part of this article, by respectively looking up the ancient, modern books and papers related to arrhythmia disease in the modern medicine and Chinese medicine,sum up and organize the understanding to the disease, including the etiology, mechanism, classification, treatment, and so on. The third part, mainly through the usual clinical study, and case records organization, coupled with the precious experience of elder people coming down to sum up, rethink.Then the article come into being.Results:In western medicine review, the definition of modern arrhythmia, clinical classification,classification of the electrocardiogram and electrophysiological classification, etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, classification, mechanism of anti-arrhythmic drugs, as well as its related side effects, non-drug therapy and prognosis were involved in this paper. In the review of traditional Chinese medicine, this article compiled the relationship between arrhythmia and heart palpitations, the palpitation pathogenesis and dialectical points and dialectical treatment, therapeutic principle,drug development for heart palpitations,treatment, unilateral prescription treatment, acupuncture, herbal diet therapy, external therapy of chinese medicine, music therapy, etc. Last part is the inheritance from mentor of Xue the thought of harmony and holism,as well as my tutor’s clinical experience of treating the disease in the etiology and pathogenesis, dialectical classification, drugs using, introduced two typical cases. Last of the least,it is about the common causes of relapse, and clinically observed common causes of this disease recurrence of induction and thinking.Conclusion:The writer finally found that western medicine for the treatment of the disease and symptom relief and emergency is positive, but for functional cardiac arrhythmia, and the prevention,deal to the corresponding complications in or after treatment, corresponding regulating guidance after treatment. However under the premise condition of the combination of body and mind, the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine has its unique feature in prevention, treatment and aftercare, worthy attaching importance,mining and inheritance. And the writer found that, when analyzing the experience of the teacher, the predecessors’experience is plentiful and often thought-provoking, but because of my inadequate clinical practice, observation and application.Thus,it is not easy to really get the main point of it. So both theory summary and clinical practice not only cannot be ignored, but also should be organically combine together, aiming to make theory research can be applied to clinical,in converse, clinical can guide and verify the theory, promoting the development of both. From individual aspect, in addition,my procession of finishing this paper is very fruitful, having seen the productive previous experience, broadening the understanding of the disease, when sum up,I also found my lack in the acknowledge and the understanding of the disease I hopes that I can study even harder in the future basing on the previous experience and the combination of thinking and the clinical practice. Eventually it is possible for me to promote the health development of mankind with my own strength.
