| To explore etiology, pathogenesis and treatment principle of Diabetes Mellitus with Coronary Heart Disease (DM-CHD) through referring to modern Chinese and Western Medicine literature on the pathogenesis and treatment principle of this disease, and on the basis of the tutor in clinical experience of the disease. The disease with a serious heart macrovascular complications is a common heart disease in diabetes, and its incidence rate is rising gradually every year. Doctors believe that the main mechanism of the disease is coronary artery stenosis or blockage, or coronary artery spasm caused by hypoxiamyocardial ischemia or necrosis, demonstrated for the onset of chest tightness, shortness of breath, chest pain, and it is also one of the leading causes of death in patients with Diabetes, its pathogenesis and hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, insulin resistance, hyperinsulinemia, hypertension, abnormal coagulation factors. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) believes that DM-CHD can be called "Diabetic Heart Disease". According to their clinical manifestations can be classified as "Diabetic Chest Oppression" category, modern traditional Chinese scholars thought that its pathogenesis mainly affected the Qi and Yin, deficiency of both qi and Yin, weakness for blood movement caused Qi deficiency, endogenous blood stasis in the body, blocking pulse, heart vessel impediment resistance, lastly leading to obstruction of Qi in the chest for Diabetes in long time.Therefore, the clinical treatment of DM-CHD should be mainly based on supplementing Qi and nourishing Yin, then promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis. The results show that, by supplementing qi and nourishing Yin, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in improving the clinical symptoms of this disease with significant DM-CHD syndrome differentiation and treatment, fully showed the unique advantages for treatment with Traditional Chinese Medicine. |
