In order to adapt the development of naval ships in the world, it is necessary to develop new vibration monitoring technologies. The characteristic of noise spectrum can be used to diagnose the running performance of equipments on the ships for finding out the troubles in time, to monitor the vibration noise of ships and to predict the sound field characteristic of typical navigation state. The distributed on-line vibration monitoring network system provides a solved project .Based on the theory of signal monitoring, analyzing and transforming, the on-line vibration monitoring network system is proposed and some researches on the vibration signal processing unit with DSP are taken. This paper focuses on the three aspects below and achieves positive results: The study on the whole scheme of distributed on-line vibration monitoring network system To meet the new demands of naval ships, a realization project of distributed on-line vibration monitoring network system is brought forward. In the system, the network topological structure is put forward and CAN bus and optical fibers are used to transmit vibration data. The study on the signal processing unit based on DSP With the precondition of tasks division, the hardware design and debugging of the signal processing system based on DSP are fulfilled. Meanwhile, the signal processing algorithm is studied in order to realize the transformation from time domain to frequency domain and analysis of spectrum. The study on the theory of vibration signal testing and analyzing According to the characteristic and demand of vibration signal, the vibration measuring technology, the signal analyzing technology and trouble diagnosing technology are studied at length on the base of consulting referring datum and considering the factual system.
