Nowadays, to meet the demands of market changing, manufacture enterprises are adjusting their key abilities constantly. Suppliers have become an essential factor of enterprise competitiveness. The choosing of suppliers has more and more influence on the core enterprise in many aspects such as product quality, stock, production etc. However, in many enterprises the rights of choosing suppliers are concentrated in a certain person. Too excessive subjective factors may produce negative effect on product and benefit, but we can establish standard assessment system to solve this problem.The analytic hierarchy Process is a kind of Decision-making method with the combination of quantity and quality. When solving the semi-hierarchy problem suchas supplier assessment, The AHP has shown the superiority of its self-theessential feature of human thought: analyzing, judging and synthesizing. The fuzziness of the subjective judgment will influence appraisement on great degree. How to use the fuzzy judgment while solving problem, is becoming the focus point studied in recent years. Combining with the usage of fuzzy algorithm applied in the project of "The intelligent and reconstructive ERP for medium and small scale companies" that the author participates, this paper has established the supplier assessment system based on fuzzy algorithm. The major work is as follow: On the foundation of integrative analysis of criterions, this paper has put forward with suppliers' "4 key abilities" which construct a new assessment system: Quality system, productivity, service and development. And according to this, this paper also have established a comprehensive supplier assessment model. Using ERP database and the new assessment model mentioned above, the paper has realized the supplier assessment system based on fuzzy algorithm, discussing many issues in the systematic design and developing in detail, such as the implement step, the algorithm structure of C++ and the database design. This paper took a further discussion of limitation in fuzzy algorithm application and put forward solution method of consistency inspection and weight analysis problem. It also detailedly discussed the usage of the scale, giving some suggestion related to assessment system implementing.Finally, as far as the author is concerned, the enterprise may establish standard supplier evaluating system through a small investment. This kind of comprehensive assessment system will make the evaluation process transparent by using data mining and fuzzy algorithm, and will avoid the disturbing from excessively subjective factors. Thus we can guarantee the fairness of the assessment.
