Research Of An Active Power-Factor-Correction

The harmonic currents pollute the main power quality ,so it is a seriousproblem in electronics systems.To that large amount and distributed signalphase electrical source,the most effective method is adding power factorcorrection(PFC) stage inside.It can be eliminate the problem at the sources.Sothe technology of PFC make the fast development in this year.This paper summarize the theory and technology used in PFC circuit andapplication of Equivalent Small Method(ESP),and give a basic idea of usingESP to analysis the average current control PFC closed-loop system.Amongthese an active power-factor-correction circuit based on UC3854BN has beendesigned for the 1200W power.The boost circuit is the kernel of this circuit,thecircuit adopt the average current control PFC closed-loop system,and theexperimental results are also good.
