Design Of The Web Browser For Embedded Operating System Of Vxworks

The 21st Century is the information age whose center is the application of computer. Not only PC, all kinds of embedded system mostly represent the computers. Embedded web browser is the kernel module of Internet appliances. Nowadays foreign vendors have almost occupied the whole shares of embedded web browser market, and domestic researchers have just begun their long journey. Inevitable tide of development of the embedded system is the connection with Internet. The technical criterion of the markup language and script language has been imported in accordance. The markup language and the script language for information appliance are discussed deeply in this dissertation. Moreover, according for the technical trait of embedded system, this dissertation expatiated the designing demand and instruction of browser. ArnoldBrowser is using the virtue of ready-made browser and Internet technology for reference, and clear image can also be obtained. ArnoldBrowser mainly includes several modules such as center control,HTML user agent,WML user agent and GUI management agent. The HTML user agent is the key of ArnoldBrowser, and the same is this dissertation. Further more, this paper makes a brief introduction to the protocol that embedded browser involves and the environment ArnoldBrowser uses, including the protocol of HTTP,VxWorks and Tornadoâ…¡etc.
