Research On Embedded Browser

Recently, the growth of the embedded market is very rapid. And with the development of the network technology, the browser has been an essential part of many embedded systems. A lot of companies invest much in the researchment and the development of the embedded browser. The embedded browser is a complex system. And it is difficult to develop a successful embedded browser. This thesis primarily discusses what I have done in the project, the research of the embedded browser. There are seven charpters in the thesis. And they describe the theory and the realization of the SEL embedded browser, especially the parser of the embedded browser. Firstly, the thesis shows the background of the project. Secondly, it describes the design of the browser. Thirdly, it describes the design of the SEL embedded browser, including the goal of the project, the principle, the platform and so on. Fourthly, it describes the HTML. Fifthly, it describes the principle of the parser. It is an important part. And it will directly influence the display of the web. The parser tree is an important concept of this part and of the whole browser program. There is a special part to introduce it. Sixthly, it presents the realization of the parser. It includes the data structure, the flow of the program. Finally, there is the prospect of the project. The technology of the browser is developing rapidly. It will have more functions. And then it will provide the users with more services.
