With the control systems becoming decentralized, networked and intelligent, the technology of fieldbus has become the research focus all over the world. The research on fieldbus protocol, application and real-time has great theoretical and practical significance. The Remote Monitoring System (RMS) is used for finishing such functions as the data that the RMS scene mainly are gathered, dealing with, controlling in real time. The traditional RMS has adopted automatic control technology, computer technology and already applied to the industrial automation, industry controlled field extensively. However, because the traditional RMS can't solve the problem of dealing with long-range real-time communication, etc. of the big real-time data amount, Its application receives very great restriction. Embedded technology is to develop a kind of very fast new developing technology in recent years, there is extensive application and study. Among them the development of embedded operating system, embedded processor is own but become better and approaching perfection day by day. But how to utilize the existing embedded operating system, embedded processor to put up or customize the embedded treatment platform of practical application, still remain to study. The thesis designs and develops a universal modularized controller based on CAN bus. The software of CAN application layer based on CAN standard is implemented and the real-time of the control system is studied. Finally conbine embedded technology with RMS , regard CAN bus controller as the core, study and set up a kind of embedded network control system structure, provide a more intact frame of CAN bus controller based on network monitoring and key technology implementation method. Firstly, the thesis set forth Field bus technology, Controlled network technology, the current situations and development trends of controller, and the research meaning of this subject, as well as research contents. Secondly, introduced CANopen protocol (CiA DS-301) especially, and designed module CAN bus controller with stronger commonability. Then introduced embedded CAN bus controller hardware and software design philosophy and whole conceptual design, have introduced the use and realization of uClinux involved in the embedded bus controller especially such as cross compile and transplantation, etc. Finnaly, regarded industrial production and control system of smelting furnace as target, put forward the construction scheme of the network monitoring system based on the embedded CAN bus controller, and to the implementation method related to key technology that arrives, such as realization of B/S function, the programming implementation of embedded WebServer, etc. This system run stably during the test environment and the network delay is reasonable. This system has the potential applied value after been extended.
