As the most effective means to eliminate current harmonics, Active Power Filter(APF)can compensate dynamically harmonics whose frequencies and amplitudes vary, so it ispaid attention to at home and abroad.The principal and structure of Active Power Filter is expatiated at first. Basing on deeplyanalyzing theory of Space Vector Control is presented, the control calculation methodbased on fixed DSP is deduced and the scheme and process are designed, then an overallframework of the method is proposed. Simulation models of shunt active power filtersystem based on this method in environment of MATLAB software are built in this paper.The simulation results prove that Active Power Filter can not only eliminate harmoniccurrent effectively, but also have better dynamic compensation characteristic.At last, following the theory and simulation study, the design control system and maincircuit parameter of shunt active power filter are studied, and the circuit of hardwareinterface and signal sampling are manufactured and tested.
