The presence and development of fieldbus has brought an involution in industry control field. With its digital, distributed and open character, fieldbus has been a hot issue in control field. The control system based on fieldbus is replacing traditional control system, and represents the orientation of advanced control system.In the fieldbus control system, the industrial field control device facing directly industry-controlled object, has not been a simple signal-gathering device and controller of device. The future industrial field control device will face the intellectualized direction to develop, fieldbus instruments not only have bus interface of computer network, but also must undertake some functions such as the control, the operation, the input/output, function configuration, and parameter optimization. It is a senior intellectualized embedded system that succeeds to function of field I/O control station in the distribute control system. It takes the microprocessor as the kernel, the performance stable, anti-jamming, the function perfect, application agility, programming simple, the control procedure variables, reducing the workload of the control system design and the construction work, speed quick, small bulk, light weight. These advantages are needed and required in the automation. Therefore, it will become the important part of modem industry products.Because of the characteristics of embedded software that applies to industry field, there are some special requirements to develop this software, which are not only satisfied with the function of the products in different field, but also guarantee the quality of products. Therefore, embedded system engineers must provide embedded system software developers convenient and efficient integrated development environment, which are integrated with many advanced developing tools to form a uniformed operating environment Developers can use those tools to efficiently design embedded products that are needed by marketIn this paper, it firstly introduces the developing status of the popular embedded systems integrated development environment in the domestic and foreign, and analyze the difference of SHCAN2000 fieldbus control system and MMB2004 fieldbus control systemin details. Then, based on this analysis, I compare the advantages and disadvantages of integrated development environments in prevalent embedded systems. I took part in the development of MMBIDE, which applies to MMB2004 fieldbus control system. This integrated development environment has the following characteristics: highly integrated functions, the stable and reliable performance, and the full knowledge property right belonged to us.
