The Design And Application Of A Omni Antenna Operating In A Wide-band Frequency

In order to develop a omni antenna having low profile and operating in a wide-band frequency, the theories of antenna related to line antenna are introduced and the main characteristic parameters are also presented in this paper at first. Some usual omni antenna having wide-band including the dipole loaded with matching network , sleeve dipole, double wimble antenna and dipole with load techniques are analyzed and results of each are achieved respectively and contrasted each other. At last a new type of low profile antenna having omni pattern and operating on a wide band frequency is developed and the results of simulation are contrasted with the results of tested, And the designing intermediate process are also presented and some useful results are presented.
