In underwater acoustic field, sonar signal processing is always one of the most important part. The most important characteristic of the development of sonar technology is using the technology of digital signal processing widely, which greatly improved the efficiency of signal processing. Nowadays only one Digital Signal Processor(DSP) cannot accomplish some complex algorithms in time. In addition, the development of micro-election is already near to its physical limit, so depending on improving the efficiency of single DSP to solve this problem is too difficult. So there is need for studying the parallel processing system, which includes multiple DSP.Sonar always uses multiple arrays, and there are many outputs of the base-array. In general the frequency of underwater acoustic is low, but acquiring time is long, which needs big memory. In experiment, because devices are scarce, we cannot acquire sufficient and complete datum, which affect the research and practice. Therefore there is need for setting up the system of data-acquiring and displaying. The research for the general parallel processing system in experiment is meaningful. The core of simulating system which is based on PCI bus ishigh-efficiency float-point DSP--ADSP-TigerSHARC. It also includes amulti-channel acquiring system and a multi-channel signal-transmitting system, This simulating processing system can be easily expanded to more complicated architecture to adapt to the various parallel algorithms.In this paper, the main works are as follows: 1.Analyse the parts of simulating system and provide the idea and method for programming. 2.The function of simulating system, which includes a multi-channel acquiring system and a multi-channel signal-transmitting system, a real-time parallel processing system and displaying and controlling system.3. Software design for simulating system. I accomplish simulate multiple array signal, real-time acquiring, transmit data from PCI to TigerSHARC in order to process them in time.
