The System Design For Combinatorial E-Mail Between HF And Inmarsat-C

The paper designs a combinatorial E-Mail system based on HF and Inmarsat-C system. Users can browse their E-Mails and get the E-Mails services through this combinatorial wireless E-Mail system which is combined by HF system and Inmarsat-C system. This system has many functions, such as inquiring, receiving and transmitting mails and so on.. Especially, the HF E-Mail system, which utilizes the devices of HF-SSB and modem, can make full use of the HF devices on vessels for communicating each other. It is not only the extension of vessel's traditional communication services but also a supplement for satellite communication.The paper discusses the combinatorial E-Mail system in details about system composing, management, function of every part and information flow chart.
