Radio Frequency Identification is a kind of automatic identification technology, it uses radio wave to collect and exchange information. Compare with other automatic identification technology, RFID has the advantage of contact-less and multiple-target recognition. With the development of integrated circuit and computer technology, RFID is applied more and more widely in logistic,transport,food safety and security domains.This paper discusses the key questions of RFID system. Firstly, this paper summarizes the background of RFID system, the working principle, the composition of RFID system and the communication protocols. Then discusses the integrity and security problems in communication process, using the CRC checkout and the authentication protocols, then does some analyses about them. The main focus of this paper is the anti-collision issues, the comparative view of the two main existing algorithms and their development algorithms, then give a new development algorithm based on the existing algorithms, after that this paper makes some simulations about these algorithms, analyses and simulations both show the advantage of the new one, it can improve the reading efficiency. This paper also brings random waiting time method from the CSMA/CD protocol into the anti-collision issues, then proves it through the comparative simulation. At last, this paper introduces some applications of the RFID system.
