The embedded software is a core of the embedded products, the foundation and tap as the embedded software, the embedded operating system has played a more and more important role in the course of industry development, the application in various kinds of embedded products is more and more popular. Researching of the embedded operating system has Very important significance. μC/OS- Ⅱ is a practical , vigorous real-time embedded operating system, it is specially written in order to use in the embedded system, can transplant , solidification, cut out , and its function is being strengthened constantly, it has and already been used widely in all trades and professions to be at flourishing developing stage at present.at first ,This paper has analyzed the basic conception of the embedded operating system, the difference of embedded operating system and ordinary operating system in task scheduling tactics , memory manage, dealing with interrupt, mutual exclusion of shared resource and reentry, have introduced several kinds of common embedded operating systems both at home and abroad.Then introduced the kernel structure of the embedded operating system μC/OS- Ⅱ with open source code in detail , analyze time management module , task management module , semaphore module , Mbox module , Queue module structure and the relation of function , have discussed the feasibility that μC/OS- Ⅱ transplants in 8051MCU, provides the method of transplanting. Select Keil C51 compiler , under great mode , adopt independence compatible method , stack of hardware and stakck of task go on concrete transplantation work. Have designed the data structure of the task stack and hardware stack , the course worked and realized transplanted in exhaustive description. After transplanting , carrying on the software emulation with its debugging device attached, then, carrying on hardware emulation, result indicated transplant method to be really feasible.Finally, realized the PC software and Modbus communication card design in transplanting μC/OS- Ⅱ of 8051MCU. According to the interface demand for EPS, provide the overall design plan , and has analyzed the design plan of software and hardware of MCU subsystem, data gathering subsystem and serial port communication subsystem in detail .
