Design And Implementation Of Heterogeneous Computer E-class Room System Scheme

This paper introduces research and development process of E-classroom in detail, and discusses the trend, it stresses importance of heterogeneous E-classroom research; The article is composed to make a practical solution through further research as well as analyzes on the problems of forming heterogeneous network by means of micro-computer and mini-computer, and establishing an E-classroom, then constructing heterogeneous computer E-classroom model, That is a method adopting mini-computer in micro-computer LAN (NO Adapter), a micro-computer takes on a common terminal in mini-computer ON-line system, and takes on the teacher machine in all E-classroom system, a mini-computer terminal was simulated by the micro-computer, and n basis of this simulation program, a heterogeneous communication platform was established, communication and resource-share between minicomputers and microcomputers was realized, then basic models in the E-classroom was finished.The system function models include process P, process login and process speak carried on minicomputer; process TUTOR, process INTER, process teacher frmclass, process frmanswer, process FTP carried on teacher machine; process student frmclass, process frmaskpro carried on microcomputer.The main functions of the E-classroom include monitoring broadcasting long-distance controllings discussing area file-transferring whiteboard, etc.In research and development of the system, mainly concluding key technologies of software-hardware environment analysis, no adapter interlink, terminal simulation, communication, sharing resources, binary file transfer algorithm , concurrent process, database-dumping and sharing, and to accomplish the basic a software design of E-classroom by adopting distribution system (DSM) concept in minicomputer side , to accomplish the main software design of E-classroom by Winsock in microcomputer side , to study teacher software integration , try to realize transparent communication in the highest limit and sharing resources in the fullest extent , at last, weak and counter measure of the system is given, and the overall objective of heterogeneous computer is given to try to provide resemble system development with theory guide. Both complicated network integration problem and efficient problems caused by masking protocol difference are avoided in it, at the same time, it considers the problem, of witch network can not be constructed because of lacking peripheral devices or money.
