Research About Application Of Short Message Service Based On, Mobile Computing

With the development of Pervasive Computing and Mobile Computing ,people are now persuing the computing which is indepent of the location and able of computing in mobile environment. Wireless Network which is one of the most import part in mobile computing and pervasive compting, produce enormous result. Wireless Network can be divided into three types on the whole:Local Area Wireless Network , Metroplitan Area Wireless Network and Wide Area Wireless Network. This paper impose on SMS which is one of the most technique adopted in Wide Area Wireless Network,and affiliate with the specific examples in market to analyze the technique's deficiency and advantage.Firstly this paper describe the background of the model of Mobile Computing, and focus on SMS architecture, SMS protocol, SMS application,and the affection of GSM/CDMA network using SMS. By means of analysis,this paper mainly encircle query fee system of china Unicom in hunan province, designed and accomplished the query fee system based on SMS request, voice requst, registration and WEB,providing best solution for china Unicom in hunan province.By advantage of SMS,design ptototype of motion controller which support the control through Wireless Network,and bring forward a universal architecture of SMS application.In the process of accomplishing query fee system,we verify the advantage of thread pool and parallelism through practise, and provide value for similar application .During process of designing prototype of motion controller, make use of system-on-chip technology, reconfigurable hardware and SMS technology, and accomplish the prototyp on arm development board manufactured by Altera, Ltd.Finally, query fee system come through the acceptance criteria of china Unicom in hunan province and put into market. System based on SMS Request receive 2000 request per day, system based on voice requst and SMS reply receive 100,000 request each day.System base on WEB and report fee info every week(user can register and recevie information every week) all get good result in market . At last we build test platform to verify the motion controller prototype, results show that: user can control a remote motor through SMS from remote,and simply by replacing the IP core, we can control different type of motor conveniently.
