To develop an evaluation system of the regional surface water qualit, two different modes, B/S&C/S, and a feasible mathematic matrix to realize the function of the system are presented in this program. The program focuses on the research of the methods of evaluation using mathematic matrix, and the features and the method to realize the function of Mode B/S and Mode C/S, i. e. how to promote the safety and feasibility of the system by exerting their advantages, avoiding unfavorable features while making full use of the favorable features. The following are the main problems to be solved:1. Set up a mathematic matrix of surface water evaluation and realize it in PowerBuilder.2. Present a graph of evaluation exponent by using the powerful forms function of PowerBuilder, through which the state of surface water and its relationship with water period can be evaluated.3. Realize Internet Jsp access and consultation using the scratchpad WebLogic Server.4. Discuss five connection methods between PowerBuilder and MS SQL Server2000 and the features of connection.
