Digital watermarking is a new technology for protection of copyright. With the globalinformation industrialization and commerce boosting, the protection of copyright becomes moreand more urgent. Under this condition, the watermarking technology is put forward. Digitalaudio watermarking is one kind of digital watermarking. For the research of audio watermarking,many algorithms have been put forward. But the question of blind inspection is of little attention.Chaotic systems have attracted extensive interests in cryptanalysis and communications becauseof its noise-like, unpredictable yet deterministic orbits and sensitivity to initial condition andparameters. In this paper, new methods are exploited in watermarking embedding strategy andblind inspection based on chaotic theories.The innovative contributions are presented as follows:1.Digital watermarking signal based on chaotic sequence and chaotic encrypting isproposed. Chaotic sequence has the advantages of massive, high security, and good performanceof auto correlation and cross correlation. Chaotic digital watermarking signal can be generatedfrom chaotic map, which is determined by initial condition and parameters. Furthermore, chaoticsequence can be exploited to encrypt the original watermarking signal. Therefore the structure ofwatermarking signal and the security of watermarking algorithm are improved effectively.2.A new method of watermarking disposing based on wavelet domain is presented.Compared with the methods of watermarking disposing based on spatial domain and DCTdomain proposed in the most papers at present, wavelet transform can meet human auditorysystems well because of its significant frequency and spatial characteristics. Experiments showthat watermarking algorithms based on wavelet domain have better performance than that onspatial domain and DCT domain and can trade off between the transparency and robustness ofthe watermark better.3.A new blind audio watermarking algorithm based on modular arithmetic is presented. Inthe paper, the blind inspection is executed by using modular arithmetic, namely, modulus 2arithmetic. (The result is 0 or 1). A algorithm with high transparency and robustness is realizedby smartly combining this arithmetic with binary chaotic sequence.
