Design And Implementation Of Location-Based Service Server

With the development of mobile communication technology and spatial information technology, location service becomes a hotspot for researching and plays an important role in public security, emergency service, traffic management and tracking. However, the present location service system of GSM can only offer the simple positioning information and not satisfy the need of users for the location-based service.With location technology and GIS technology analyzed in detail, spatial position information and spatially referenced information are integrated. Therefore, location-based service server is designed and implemented.In this thesis, the basic location method(COO, TOA, EOTD and AGPS), location method implementation, network architecture of GSM mobile location are analyzed, variable models of ingrating GIS with location service system are introduced and compared. According to the demand of function requirement, location technique and mobile GIS is analyzed, all the functions of location-based service server is distinguished and modualated. The message queue technique of Unix is introduced and researched, and message queue platform is designed and realized. According to the basic function of location-based service designed, the interface of communicating with GIS server is realized. In the end of this thesis, system testing has shown that the design purpose has been fulfilled and the prototype server is operational.
