How to assign the equipments of SDTN(Space Detection And Track Network) is an important problem to detect space, It is pivotal to the existing SDTN and guidable to improving SDTN. How to assign equipments of SDTN is the base to trace space objects all day, we must get a comparatively optimization algorithm for the problem when ability is less than demand. It is a special application of resoure assign in the field of detecting space.Aim at the fact of SDT(Space Detecting and Tracking) in our country, we classify the space objects, analyse the STD demand of the space objects on different obrit, define the measuring elements of STD equipments, describe the quantitative analysis means to ability of variable STD equipments, bring forward ability describe tables and assign modificatory rules of SDTN. Basing on PRI and statistical average, focussing on serious conflicts between the STDN resources of ground stations, we select the assign algorithm. Basing on the status of achieving the schedule and using the equipments, considering those modificatory rules, we put forward the model to evaluate. Basing on all above, we make up the structure of software. The approaches how to assign the equipments of SDTN has appicated and been proved useful, it is also a guide for assign the equipments of satellite TT&C network.
