This paper makes a deep research in image digitization, digital image stabilization technology, highpass filter and image segmentation according to the design requirement of the air defence missile, and achive the goal that designing the system with FPGA technology.At first, we introduce the structure of this image digitizating and digital image preprocessor system, and present the goal of this design: digitizing the analog-input image, and in the real-time, preprocesing the digital image.At secondly, we introduce the theory of FPGA and I~2C-BUS, and analyse the design and Implementation of I~2C-BUS based on FPGA.In the part of image preprocessing, the theory of the preprocessor that including rolling rectifying, image highpass filter, and Image segmentation, is alalysed.And baseing on the Booth algorithm, Wallace tree, and jump carry adder, the digital image real-time preprocessor using FPGA has been designed and setup.At last, accounting for the communications of this image digitizing and preprocessing system with the next info-processer, the HDLC protocol controller, based on FPGA, has been designed and setup.
