Fuzzy control system is a negative feed-back closed-loop digital control system which is based on fuzzy mathematics, knowledge expressions assuming a form of fuzzy language and fuzzy logical reasoning rules.At same time, fuzzy control system is based on computer control technology.Because of its independence of accurate mathematical model, fuzzy control especially applies to some complex processes and systems.These processes and systems of which muti-input-outputs are strongly coupled, of which parameters vary constantly are non-linear and undefined.Digital signal processing is a subject which concerns many other subjects and is extensively applied to many new-developed fields. Digital signal processing is also theoretical base of modern control theory, including Optimal Control, Artificial Intelligence, Neuralnetwork, Pattern Recognition and Fuzzy control.DSP chip is a kind of microprocessor which has special architecture.Interiorly, DSP chip takes use of Pipeline Operation and Havard Bus Structure-program bus apart from data bus,and has an exclusive multiplier. These merits of hardware resources make DSP complete a addition operation and a multiplication operation in a clock cycle.Because of special architecture , DSP can implement many digital signal proceesing Algorithm.Nowadays ,America and Japan hold a lead in reseach,development and use of fuzzy controller.China has developed its first fuzzy controller in 1995.But developing these fuzzy controller necessitate special microprocessor. DSP chip as hardware developing platform,fuzzy control rules as core, fuzzy reasoning as process ,this research item will develop a kind of versatile fuzzy controller which is capable of adapting to different circumstances and tuning parameters automatically.Taking advantage ofDSP to develop versatile and auto-tuning parameters fuzzy controller is innovative and advanced.At same time, this research has practical value.This research item mainly focuses on software and hardware design.Hardware design includes TMS320C203 interface circuit with exterior data memory, exterior program memory, A/D, D/A, and RS-232 convert circuit design.Software design includes programming of on-line reasoning 2-dimension fuzzy control Algorithm,communicating with topper computer in order to receive self-tuning parameters.Experiment demonstrates that this fuzzy controller can adapt to different conditions and has higher performance/price ratio. The output of fuzzy control system has better stable and dynamic performances.In circumstances of improvement, this reseach will see better prospective.
