The key issue of service-oriented architecture is to composite distributed and autonomous Web services into business applications. The idea of Web service composition is to implement the enterprise model by flexibly and effectively coordinating different Web services. However, previous research on Web service composition cannot satisfy the enterprises' requirements and there is still a long way towards the wide application of Web service composition in business.Based on previous work on Web service and Web service composition, this paper proposes the Web service selection strategy based on QoS and probability information, which is neglected by previous Web service composition approaches. A conceptual transaction model is proposed to solve the problem of inconsistency in materialized view maintenance in loosely coupled network environments.This paper proposes a process-oriented Web service composition framework, which can effectively and efficiently implement enterprise business logic by means of requirement resolution, process definition, Web service retrieval, Web service matching, Web service selection, Web service execution, and data integration.
