With the deeping of the power system reform and the establishment of the power marketing, the electrical management information systems(MIS) are used more and more widely. This paper analyzed the situation of equipment reparation and management of Hangzhou Electric Power Bureau and present the plan of Production Run Management Information System(PRMIS). The advanced PRMIS plan presented in this paper aims at enhancing the management of Hangzhou Electric Power Bureau. With the principle of integrality, practicability, opening and generality, the management information system is based on the three-layer structure of the integration of C/S and B/s. The system database platform adopts the distributed database of Oracle 8.17 to process the system data. According to the production and management situations of some electric power bureaus, the author present some advanced methods which are newly used in the industry, such as the three-layer structure of the integration of C/S and B/S. The system contains the following content: To study the use of PRMIS in the information management system of power plants according to the operation of power plants. To build the three-layer structure of the integration of C/S and B/s based on the object-oriented method. And to compare the commonly used database platforms and choose Oracle to design the database processing system. To discuss the right security projects which are widely used in the field. To design the models of line inspection, line reparation, equipment operation based on the situation of equipment reparation and management of Hangzhou Electric Power Bureau. To realize the designed models of production and management. To study the effect of PRMIS according to its use in equipment reparation and management of Hangzhou Electric Power Bureau. The PRMIS system presented in this paper improves equipment reparation and management of Hangzhou Electric Power Bureau and realizes the share of data resources. The system realizes the quick inquirement and maintenance of the data. In a word, the PRMIS system enhances the management of Hangzhou Electric Power Bureau.
