The Information Service Architecture Based On Pervasive Computing

As the development of the science and technology in the communication and electronic field, the availability and utilizing of information become more and more convenient. For the modern industries and fields, the control of information may be crucial to the winning in the highly competition; for the individual persons, the convenient information can improve the quality of life and elevate the level of life; and for the whole society of human beings, the development of information technology means the development of the society. Since the information technology comes up into being, a lot of information management / service systems have been established in lots of fields of our society. These systems dedicated themselves to providing convenient information service to customers and they have made great contributions in efficiency-improving. Anyway, as the limits of the corresponding technologies and the ideas of system architecture, the effects that these systems provide are not too much. Therefore these information systems have two demerits: firstly, the information sources are not abundant; secondly, the information services are not so convenient. To solve the demerits, an information service architecture based on pervasive computing is established. Firstly, this architecture is information service oriented, that means every thing in this architecture is for information service; secondly, this architecture is based on the infrastructure of pervasive computing that is a new concept in the distributed computing field during the recent years and whose purpose is to provide powerful information services anytime and anywhere, and from this point we can see that pervasive computing and the idea of information service oriented can get along with each other. In this paper, at first we discuss the theories of pervasive computing. Then the information service architecture is proposed, and we discuss deeply in the basic concept, system strategy, system architecture, communication network and key infrastructure. At last, we establish a stimulant combat field information service system on Java platform to identify this information service architecture, mostly to identify the system strategy, system architecture and some of the key infrastructures.
