The Building Automation System has developed more than ten years form DCS to FCS. Through the dispute of 14 years, the 8 kinds of Field Bus have been the standerd of IEC61158 voted by the IEC Field Bus Standard Organisation. The communication protocols of these systems are different absolutely. So it is very difficulte that make these filed bus systems compatible and co-operate each other. The multi-standard means none-standard. The markets need a uniform standard control system urgently. And making the real standard of system is the only way to realize it. So people began to seek new ways to creat a new control system generation. The most acceptable way in the numerous methods is use the universal international standardard -Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol, and makes them ripely used in the control field. It is easy acceptable and welcome to most contories'users, system vendors, OEM and manufacters. This is the real mean of Ethernet Control System. The research subject of this thesis is an important part of New-type Building Control System Based On Ethernet. This project is being researched on by Intelligent Building Institute of Nanjing University of Technology. The purpose is for developing an advanced, practical and opening control system of the building with independent intellectual property right. It is suitable for various kinds of mansions, skyscrapers and intelligent districts based on LAN. The paper first reviews the development of Building Automation System. After does some compare and discusses with the mainstream building automation technology such as DCS and FCS, the paper talk about the most worrying questions of the Etheernet entering the control network. They are its determinate and real-time performance. The paper elaborates on these questions and gives a rational resolvent with a new Ethernet BA control system, and gives a good academic support to the Ethernet BA control Framework. Based on the research work in the current mainstream DCS and FCS control system framework, the paper gives a new Ethernet BA control system framework different with these. And talk about its upper software development in detail. In the concretely application system, paper realizes a Ethernet PAU control system. In the field lyer, the system used the ENC4DI2DO, ENC3AO4AO model. By using the labview-control program software, paper first programs a control and sub VI between the host computer and the field lyer model, the communication sub VI between the monitor and the XML realtime database. And then paper selects the Macromedia Flash software to progrom the monitor interface for realizing the Browser/Server control fuction. And flash can make the monitor interface easy to use. Though the experiment we can use remote brower control the PAU system in real-time succeedly. It can validate the correctness and maneuverability of this new Ethernet BAl system. The paper realizes the research and development requiremen in the whole new Ethernet BA system framework and the design of its key upper monitor and control software.
