| This thesis planned a four-meter one-card-through system scheme of Intelligent Residential Area first, and then it introduced the design of the RF card reader especially. Now, there are two pieces of developing direction mainly in the four-meter filed: one is multiple-meter system, and the other is IC card-meter system, which is called prepaid-fee system also. IC card-meter system is compacted by contact-type IC card-meter system and RF card-meter system. But the first two types have some inherent deficiencies which make the system working unsteadily at long run. RF card not only inherits various of advantages of contact-type IC card, but also combines the radio frequency technique and the technique of IC card, resolving two great technological problems: no power source and wireless data transmission, which is a great break-through of electronic technology.The RF card reader mainly includes MCU module, RF card read/write module, clock module, display module, and so on. The low power consumption MCU module, MSP430F149, is the core of the reader. This paper introduced its electric circuit, related software and the selection of the chips, etc. The latest part of the paper is the communication between MSP430 and the PC. The RF card system is the most potential system among the four-meter systems by now, and it will affect the inhabitants' livings further with its development. |
