Mining The Data In Dam Safety Monitoring

Data Mining (DM) is a worthy technology that takes potential and unbeknown information out of a huge numbers of data to guidance the practice. Now, It is widely used in lots of areas, which have a great deal of data and need complex analyses on it, like telecom, banking, insurance and government, etc.In dam safety monitoring, monitoring-data has a very well mining condition: it not only has characteristic like nonlinear, multi-gene, self-relating, non-equality distributing and so on, but also provide a large data set which accumulated for decades. In addition, along with the rapid development of the era, traditional analyses system can't satisfy the needs on centralizing, real-time and online.Considering all above, this paper introduces DM into the dam safety monitoring and execute this research rely on ' Information System for Dam Safety Remote Management' project.
