With the development of information technology and the application of e-commerce, information security is being paid more attention by people. Information hiding is a technology which embeds the important data into digital video, audio or picture to hide the existence for anonymous communications. The thesis looks back on the development history of the information hiding firstly. Thereafter the thesis summarizes the characteristics of Human Auditory System (HAS). Then it indicates that people can make use of these characteristics to hide the secret data in a public audio. The audio scramble technology, which is an encryption method, can be used in the pretreatment of information hiding. The thesis presents a kind of digital audio scrambling method based on Fibonacci transformations. The Fibonacci transformation has periodicity, the scrambling effect is very good, the computing speed of the algorithm is fast and the algorithm can resist some attacks, such as serious data loss, mp3 compression and white noise. The digital watermark is an important branch of the information hiding technology. Its appearance is chiefly for solving the copyright protection matter of the multi-media product in network. Digital watermark is mainly through the built-in watermark in source data to mark the author, owner or publisher. The watermark can be image sign, text or serial number, etc. Based on the three representative watermark algorithms, namely, Least Significant Bit coding, Phase coding and Echo hiding, some novel watermark algorithms are introduced by using the Fibonacci transformation. Experiment results show that the algorithms are robust against various signal processing such as white noise, mp3 compression, re-sampling and re-quantifying.
