The Research Of Softplc System Based On PC/104 And ARM7 Controllers

SoftPLC, based on IEC61131-3 standard, is a new developing technology, which meets the need of opening, standardization and network in the control area. It combines control, communication, man-machine interface and so on. It also could be applied to different hardware such as IPC, DCS, PC/104, DSP, ARM. So it's very significant to develop and popularize SoftPLC.At first the produce and development of SoftPLC technology is introduced. Besides describing the structure and principle, the paper emphasizes the designation of SoftPLC software. After that, a SoftPLC system based on embedded PC/104 controller is designed and actualized, including the selection of PC/104 hardware, the driver of I/O modules and actualization of communication. Then the system is applied to the led cycle control and the temperature control of the Electric Furnace. The system is validated through the two control samples.In the paper some explorative and useful researches on embedded system based on ARM7 AT91M55800A microprocessor are also shown. The paper transplanted the runtime system of SoftPLC to AT91M55800A, and implemented the I/O discret control, which is useful for the future work.
