Middleware software manage the application of customer and database or the communication of application softwares. Middleware is a connecting link between the preceding and the following of distributed customer and service.This article is concerned on the situation of distributed campus Intranet, and studies the interrelated technology. Middleware includes RMI, message management and resolution of renew and query.RMI: use JAVA RMI technology. RMI application program includes two absolute applications: server application program and customer application program. Typical server application program will create many remote objects, and make these remote objects be cited. And then customer transfers these remote methods. Typical customer application program will gain one or many citations from server, and then transfer remote method of remote object. RMI provides the way of communication of customer and service.Message management: use the technology of message queue. There are two functions of message queue. The first: When the net receives the data, the data first is laid in the message queue, and the information of the data is disposed. The second: When many customers are visiting, the message queue will PRI array. When many customers are visiting, the database at the same time, middleware use 2PL to deal with this question.Resolution of renew and query use distributed renew and query strategy and datadictionary to solve distributed renew and query question, such as: the location of database server, etc.The interrelated technology of The Middleware includes the interrelated question of distributed situation database visiting and renewing.
