Research And Implementation Of Remote Control Platform Based On Wireless Network

Recently,with the rapid development of the technology of computer network and remote control,especially the IEEE802.11 wireless local area network(WLAN),the remote control which is under the environment of wireless network becomes a popular research and application field. First of all,this paper builds up the model of remote control system and analyses the methods and performances of the remote control system.Secondly,on the basic of analysis and compare about the different kinds of the technology of wireless network and the methods of remote control,the technique of wireless network and network communication which is suitable to the remote control platform based on wireless network is brought forward,namely,under the environment of IEEE802.11b standard ,we can create the remote control system platform based on client/server model and TCP/IP protocol using winsock.Then,we discuss the IEEE802.11 protocol standard and TCP/IP and in detailed,as well as network programming technique based on socket and multi-thread. Finally,on the basic of forward work,we establish communication protocol. Using personal computer as remote controller and P3-DX mobile robot as object of control ,we work out the instance of remote control platform,which has esay operation and friendly interface.
