It is one of the research hotspots to support integration, share and interchange of engineering test data and effective interoperation between inner-system and inter-system in distributed and heterogeneous engineering environment of Scientific Experimentation domain. The distributed storage, variable schema and various management strategy of engineering information lead to an isolated island of information, and the integration and interoperation between systems are difficult and costly. Based on the background of Missile Stealth Test domain, Data Warehouse, Semantic Web and Web Services technologies are introduced in the research. This paper mainly researches the System Interoperation Framework of Engineering Data Warehouse. Firstly, the application requirements in Scientific Experimentation Engineering Domain are analyzed, and present condition of engineering test data management is summarized, then a comprehensive system interoperation framework of engineering data warehouse is proposed. ODP standard specification technology is used to describe the interoperation framework in five viewpoints. Secondly, Semantic Web technology is introduced in response to the complicated and variable schema of engineering test data. And it is used to define an engineering test information model based on the domain ontology given by us, then the model, design and an example of semantic integration are given. Thirdly, the integration and interoperation between the systems are effectively implemented through web services integration architecture. Lastly, an interoperation experiment platform and an application of this framework, Missile Stealth Test Data Warehouse System (MSTDWs), are given.
