This paper mainly makes research of the design method of J2EE application driven by patterns. First, it introduces design pattern and J2EE technology, then it discusses representative J2EE design patterns. For these patterns ,this paper analyze background of appearance , basic theory ,application scene and advantages via using J2EE patterns. But when using these patterns, there are a few problems you must take attention to. Then it discusses relations of these patterns and improvement of these application model after using design patterns which made developers have a clear reorganization with system framework .In addition, It also discusses the importance of combination of design patterns and the design method of J2EE application driven by patterns. In the end, in allusion to a concrete J2EE application ,it explains how to select appropriate patterns and combine these patterns efficiently to improve application system to maximum limit. Then it tests the system performance in order to explain the distinct change after using J2EE patterns. Because each pattern solves different question and have different interest in these problems and each pattern can not exist independently and have complex relations with other patterns, for J2EE developers, how to select appropriate patterns and combine these patterns efficiently is the emphases of this paper. It is an exciting realm using design patterns to develop J2EE application. It add new element in existing software design patterns. Design patterns provide the reusable solution to improve J2EE system performance and help J2EE developers improve system quality ,shorten the period of developing a project .It also helps developers construct efficient, safe and stable J2EE system .
